FOUNDER + CEO
Hey I’m Dan, at my core I’m a ‘creative’ but I also thrive when it comes to the intricacies of business and strategy. In a previous life, I was a finance guy, responsible for building wealth and risk strategies for SMEs and their owners. After close to a decade working for various financial institutions, I decided to marry my business acumen with my passion for film and ability to connect with people and their stories: I started a content production company, and haven’t looked back since.
My first business, Wild Vista, quickly became one of Western Australia's top digital content agencies specialising in strategic and creative content production for government bodies, SMEs and not-for-profit organisations. I was the managing director of Wild Vista for 8 years before deciding to take an opportunity to move this business on.
After my exit, I took a two year hiatus from the pressure of running an agency and strangely with reduced responsibilities, I got really productive during this time. I broadened my skillset in a Head of Marketing role for a leading dental health group, completed my mini MBA in marketing, had my first child, co-founded Buoya Vital, a vitamin & health supplements brand in the US, and co-founded One Human, a story sharing concept/platform to help address intergenerational disconnect.
Time away from running an agency allowed me the break I needed and gave me a completely new perspective on how agencies might need to evolve in order to thrive in a rapidly changing business landscape. So in late 2023, I could no longer resist the pull to return to what I love and I set about launching the agency of my dreams, Humanifi.

Jane Kennedy
FOUNDER + CREATIVE DIRECTOR
I've been telling people's stories for over 15 years. It's what lights me up and I believe it is my purpose in life. Over the years I have worked as a journalist, video producer, writer, DOP and video editor, graphic designer, web designer, social media content creator and business owner..... In my humble opinion I am a bloody good all rounder.
I began my working life at the ABC working as a cross media reporter learning from some amazing colleagues and receiving training and mentorship from some of the ABC's best.
After four years at the ABC I decided to follow my passion for video production and started my own business. From a humble side project it grew to become one of WA's most trusted production companies. I am proud to say that we never let a client down (sometimes to my own detriment). We worked closely with clients such as tourism WA, Bush Heritage Australia, Veteran Affairs, World Wildlife Fund, The University of WA, Toyota, and a number of community and First Nations organisations.
In this role I did just about everything possible. It wore me out, but travelling the state with my small team to produce important stories from our community drove me. I've interviewed big dog CEOS, revered Elders, Vietnam war veterans, drunk punters, farmers, scientists, at risk youth, environmentalists, artists and everyone in between.
in 2020 I took a step back from my work to start my family, I have since work in advertising, social media management and start up land. My learning has been immense and it has been a great experience applying my storytelling skillset to commercial projects. Stories sell!
